I am a passionate clinical psychologist, committed to support change for clients, bringing compassion, authenticity and curiosity to develop a shared understanding of the problem. Recovery is not just symptom reduction but rediscovering meaning and purpose. I treat trauma and it's impacts, survivors of sexual abuse and family violence, frontline responders and military, individuals struggling with the effects of attachment trauma. I have a strong interest in supporting First Nations clients, support victim/ survivors of crime, frontline responders or anyone who has experienced traumatic events through childhood or as an adult.
Using curiosity, authenticity and compassion I support clients to feel safe and contained. This base then allows further exploration of traumatic events, using EMDR, narrative, somatic or creative and appropriate approaches. There is no one size fits all, and this delicate work requires a deep understanding of the client's needs.
