My clients often question their relationship with alcohol, even if they don’t identify as alcoholics. Binge drinking and high-functioning drinking are common, sometimes linked to anger or impulse issues. I offer a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space to explore these challenges. Clients’ goals vary—from quitting or taking a break to addressing issues like anxiety, depression, or major life changes. I also support French-speaking clients with diverse concerns.

I'm a qualified, registered counsellor who has personally experienced alcohol addiction. My mission is to support all grey-area drinkers. I have completed a Certificate in the Neurobiology of Addiction from Stanford University and am a Certified Specialist in Anger Management. And I'm currently completing a Master of Counselling at Notre Dame University.
My own story may help me understand what you may going through especially when it comes to alcohol addiction. I'll welcome you warmly with no judgement, genuine empathy, and an open mind to talk in confidentiality about your concerns, and goals. I'll support you and provide you all the helpful and sometimes entertaining tools and resources.

I always use compassion focused therapy because alcohol addiction is always causing feelings of shame, guilt, regret, and negative self-talk. Most individuals suffering because of their alcohol addiction are extremely hard on themselves and have a high level of anxiety. This is what alcohol does by design. Therefore, compassion is fundamental and much needed to support the client.
