People enter therapy to make sense of and to recover from personal issues. I work with those who are experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, grief and loss, and those who have difficulties with adjustment, relationships, parenting, work, sleep, and anger. I specialise in recovery from childhood trauma, violence and sexual abuse. I provide clinical supervision and consultation to other Psychologists to assist them in helping their clients.
I have practiced as a Psychologist since 1998 in a variety of organisations before entering Private Practice. My treatment approaches are informed by systems theory, solution-focused therapy, trauma principles and psychotherapy. These approaches assist in personal growth and the understanding of family of origin issues that impact us all.
I provide an empathic and safe place for people to explore their issues. I listen with understanding and offer a new perspective so that they can recover and move forward with their lives in healthier ways.
