I am passionate about working with individuals and couples to create a deeper awareness of themselves and a stronger sense of self that ultimately leads to more compassionate and fulfilling relationships. I specialise in helping couples identify and work through replacing unhealthy patterns with healthier, more connected ways of being together. I support individuals and couples in understanding how their own individual growth and development is key to deeper and more connected relationships.
Identifying and bringing insight to unhelpful patterns and beliefs from childhood and past relationships that are no longer useful or serve you well is an important part of the therapeutic work we do together. I work systemically and am informed by The Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, The Gottman Method, Solution Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy
I see my clients as experts in their own relationships and part of my role is to guide and facilitate a safe and nurturing space for them to feel seen and heard by each other. Added to that are tools I share with my clients to practice outside the sessions so the understandings and changes they make within are sustainable.
