Manisha (they/she) is a queer, neurodivergent, Sri Lankan-Fijian Indian non-binary woman, born and raised in Aotearoa, New Zealand. A person-centred narrative therapist, EMDR practitioner, and resource therapist (parts work), Manisha brings a deep commitment to anti-colonial care. Raised in a bicultural haven, they carry the belief that what's good for Māori is good for all, an ethos woven into both life and practice. Therapy with Manisha is grounded in collective thriving, cultural safety, and the gentle yet powerful art of storytelling.
Manisha’s practice is shaped by a dedication to social justice, human rights, and the transformative power of narrative. Their approach is a constant dance of unlearning and relearning, grounded in anti-colonial frameworks and a deep belief in the healing potential of story and connection.
In their warm, affirming space, Manisha invites you to explore your histories, herstories, and theirstories to honour those who came before and to shape stories of resilience and resistance. Through EMDR, parts work, and narrative therapy, they hold space for healing that is as layered as the lives we live.
