I am an endorsed Counselling Psychologist with 10+ years clinical experience in public and private sectors. I am down to earth, caring and friendly. I work collaboratively with my clients to find out what matters to them and provide support for them to develop their strengths and coping skills, to achieve their goals for therapy. I aim to provide a supportive and non-judgemental space in which people can feel safe to explore their difficulties. I am bilingual in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese (Chinese).

I have over 10 years of experience as a psychologist, and appreciate the value of empathy and compassion in fostering healing and growth. I work with personal mental health challenges such as adjustment, grief, relationships, anxiety, depression and trauma. I also have a background in marketing and management, and understand workplace dynamics and the stress that can at times be experienced by employers and employees. By combining my clinical experience with this business background, I offer a comprehensive approach to addressing work-related issues such as burnout, workplace bullying, management coaching, and injury on duty.

I am a clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience in clinical supervisory roles held at both hospitals and private practice. In this time I have specialised in sleep issues, sleep disorders, psychotic spectrum disorders, bipolar disorder and other clinical presentations. Helen Wong is a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and Australian Counsellors Association(ACA) with experience working in psychiatric hospital, residential training centre, schools and various not-for-profit organisations both overseas and in Australia. Helen completed her undergraduate degree in Social Work(Hons) in 2005 and a Master's degree of Social Sciences in Family Counselling in 2009. Helen also attained Australian based therapeutic qualifications through various mental health academies. Helen's areas of interest include student counselling, child development, disabilities and mental illness.
