I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with a Master of Social Work, Master in Counselling and Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology and have been running a successful practice since 2002. I look to ensure a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship putting people at ease and providing a safe non-judgmental environment. I work with people registered with NDIS, DVA, Work Safe, GP Referral and Self Referral. I do not charge a gap for people with social services cards. I am skilled in several psychological frameworks including CBT, DBT and EFT (tapping).
I have an interest and qualifications in several different fields of counselling including, but not limited to trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship counselling, grief and bereavement and Male Family Violence. I do face-to-face and Zoom supervision for those who require it as well as run a Zoom Group Supervision Meeting bi-monthly.
I am fully trained in supervision having completed several supervision courses over the last ten years including more recently a Full Supervision Training Program Parts 1-3 run by The Murtupuni Centre for Rural and Remote Health & the College of Healthcare Sciences, at James Cook University.
