My name is Apurva Nargundkar, I am the director and principal psychologist at Luminare Psychology. I am passionate about working with adults presenting with a range of issues, particularly with anxiety, LGBTQIA+/gender diversity, women's mental health, Culturally and Linguistically Diversity (CALD) issues, and intersectional experiences (i.e. those who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community while navigating cultural or religious pressure). I offer a safe space for my clients to explore their issues without judgement.
My approach as a therapist is respectful, curious, culturally responsive and inclusive. I bring empathy, humour, open communication and positive regard to each therapeutic relationship.
Therapy can be a challenging yet ultimately rewarding commitment. My aim is to support and empower you to make decisions about your life that honour your values. I believe in providing a safe, comfortable and supportive environment for my clients to take this journey with me. Please reach out and contact me if you feel I may be a good fit for you.
