Hello, I'm Lucy (she/her), Clinical Psychologist. I live and practice on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country in Melbourne/Naarm, and also support individuals living remotely via Telehealth.
I provide individual psychological services to adults and young people (17+) experiencing a broad range of challenges, including anxiety/depression, stress, relating to autism/ADHD, and trauma. Clients I work with tend to describe feeling overwhelmed and disconnected, or stuck in recurring life patterns that aren't serving them and their relationships. After working together, they typically describe feeling more empowered, capable and understood.
I take an integrative approach in selecting appropriate, evidence-based interventions in collaboration with each individual's needs. I draw from Schema, EMDR, ACT, CBT, and aspects of IFS and DBT. My primary focus in providing treatment is to provide affirming, LGBTIQA+ inclusive and trauma-informed care, that fosters a strong therapeutic relationship.
Commencing therapy can often coincide with a time when we are feeling our most vulnerable. I feel deeply privileged to do this work, and I always aim to create a calm, grounded space for you, where you can feel safe to come as you are.
