I have a special interest in couple's therapy and in healing inner child wounds. We form different types of attachment depending on the care we receive as infants. Many people develop adaptations to survive their childhood which no longer serve them as adults. We can work together to identify behaviours that are maladaptations to free up healthier connection
I believe in a person-centred approach that focuses on empathy, authenticity and respect. I believe the client is the expert on their lives and I am there to be a support and guide. Solutions Focussed Therapy taps into people's reserves of strength and resilience to highlight what has worked in the past and what does not serve you to break negative patterns.
