I work with clients who are looking for understanding, empathy and acceptance. I am experienced with working with complex trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse and eating disorders. People who are looking to not just talk through their issues but who want to be in a space to work on and transform their inner worlds and the way they approach life find that the way I work alongside them as well as the space I provide resonates with them. I am a person-centred, holistically minded counsellor and psychotherapist. I am trained in Trauma Informed Process Work Psychotherapy as well as being a trained and registered Homeopath and have over twenty-five years experience of working in the mental health sector; both in Australia and England. I hold an accepting, non-judgemental and calm space.
I came to work as a Counsellor and in the mental health field because of my own personal experiences of both physical and mental ill-health in life. Psychotherapy and counselling have helped me to get through difficult times in my own life - so I have empathy because I know how it feels to be in the client seat and be seeking help.
