I'm Lou, an experienced Credentialed Mental Health Nurse + Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician, who is passionate about providing a quality service to children (10+), adolescents, young adults, people with eating disorders, anxiety disorders, and those fighting invisible illnesses. My approach is integrative, creative, flexible, family-inclusive + recovery focused. Private paying clients can book online - no referral needed. Medicare rebates for clients who have a Chronic Disease Management Plans (Item 10956). Sorry, I cannot provide Medicare rebates for Mental Health / Eating Disorder plans but I do offer a reduced fee.
My service is open to all people 10yrs+, but you may be interested to know that my areas of expertise and special interest include youth mental wellbeing, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and complex pain conditions/illnesses. I am trained to provide individual therapy and counselling using a range of modalities.
I also provide important things that you cannot get a piece of paper for, such as kindness, empathy, hope, authenticity and humour. I welcome everyone, irrespective of culture, ethnicity, faith, sexual orientation, gender identity, neurodiversity, physical ailments, lifestyle choices, and choice of footy team!
