Counselling should always begin from a place of empathy and curiosity, and I strive to make the process one of two-way learning and discovery. I work with families who have lived through difficult times, meeting them where they are at and helping them get where they need to be.
This includes individual and parent-child work, using a range of modalities.
I hold a Master of Social Work, a PhD with additional training in a number of specialties. I'm passionate about offering safe, neuro-affirming therapeutic support using a range of modalities that are supported by evidence. This might include mindfulness and somatic practices, play-based approaches and more traditional style talk therapies.
