About
My counselling approach, in the context of helping you achieve your goals in counselling, is to explore certain patterns with you. These include patterns in your thinking, feelings, motives, choices, and behaviour. We will discuss patterns that are helpful and unhelpful and patterns that may need strengthening. We explore current relationships and relational patterns and at times personal history, to explore and encourage growth, development and change in relational, behavioural, emotional, and thinking patterns.
My counselling experience is in sexual abuse, patients suffering with endometriosis, anger, trauma, anxiety, social anxiety, depression, grief and loss.
Counselling can be a scary concept, especially speaking to a stranger about what is heavy on your heart however I can assure you I always create a safe space for you to feel confident to share your story.
