I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 18 years working in the health and disability sectors (as a support worker, assistant in nursing and Psychologist). I have a special interest in working with adults with disability including acquired brain injury, intellectual disability, ASD, neuro-degenerative disease etc. I also have experience working with couples and families where one or more individuals has disability. Additionally, I have an interest in working with people from LGBTQIA+ populations and work with adults from all populations to manage anxiety disorders using effective and evidence based interventions.
A wealth of research indicates that Clinical Psychology interventions are effective in addressing many psychological concerns, and that interventions need to be adapted to each individual. I work primarily from a cognitive-behavioural framework including CBT, ACT, DBT and I am trained in Schema Mode Therapy. All services are able to be delivered online.
Please contact me if you wish to discuss the above services. I am a Medicare registered provider and can work with NDIS participants who are Plan Managed or Self Managed. I can also provide assessment of cognitive ability and adaptive functioning, including diagnostic assessment of Intellectual Disability.
