Hi, I am a warm, informal and collaborative clinical psychologist. My approach looks at both present concerns and past experiences. These may or may not be connected but in either way, can leave us feeling stuck, low, anxious or helpless. Together we can look at what is bothering you, explore where it began and what you would like to change or do differently. If you aren't sure what's wrong, but feel that something just isn't quite right we can work on what may be underlying your feelings and beliefs about yourself and others. By making connections, change becomes possible.
I use evidence-based strategies and a person-centred approach to facilitate change for my clients and tailor treatment to the needs of each person using various modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness-based interventions and interpersonal therapy. More than anything, I would like to hear your story.
I aim to provide a safe, discrete and confidential environment where you are able to express and evaluate your needs in an open and non-judgemental situation where we can work together to find the way forward. Please don't hesitate to give me a call or send an email. I look forward to meeting you.
