At Serendipitous Counselling I will be working with individuals, couples and families and supporting them through whatever challenges life brings their way. I love to work with an array of different cultural backgrounds, demographics and presentations, including ASD, ADHD, mental health and trauma. I also provide counselling to those needing support with relationships, self-esteem, or life transitions, to name a few. In my work with couples and families I will focus on relationship and communication breakdowns, re-building connections, managing conflict and creating shared meaning.
My approach in counselling is very person-centred, meaning that I provide a safe and non-judgemental space for you to explore whatever challenges you may be facing. I also tailor my therapy and incorporate various modalities depending on the needs of my clients. These may include CBT, DBT, ACT and narrative therapy.
I am very warm and compassionate, and I take time to build rapport and trust so that my clients feel as comfortable with me as possible. I work very collaboratively with my clients and ensure they have autonomy and understand that I am here to support them and walk with them on their journey.
