I am passionate about the work that I do. I offer my clients a confidential, safe environment to address their areas of concern in a holistic manner. This includes mental health, relationship issues, stress, managing change, and grief & loss. I use a solution focused approach, with a goal of empowering my clients, and supporting them to improve their emotional, physical health and wellbeing. I work with my clients to build on their strengths, and address their areas of concern. Together we work on strategies that they can use in managing their issues.
I provide individual counselling; couple counselling; short-term crisis counselling; and supervision for other professionals. I work with adolescents from 16 years; adults; the elderly and their families. I have many years of experience working with a variety of clients who are managing their mental health, stress, challenges, and change.
I use my empathy and experience to create a safe and confidential space for my clients to explore their concerns. Together we look at how to build on their strengths, live in the present, and move forward with their lives. I am non-judgemental, enabling clients to be open and honest. I aim to empower my clients and facilitate their self-growth.
