NEW address in Springwood - please enquire. Hi, I am Kirsi Reinikka, qualified Art Therapist and Social Worker through the Masters programs at the University of Queensland. Art therapy is psychological therapy assisted by the art making process. Art therapy can help with feelings of anxiety, depression, psychological trauma, finding insight, goal setting, relaxation to name a few. I currently provide art therapy for private as well as self- and plan-managed NDIS clients. Just make an enquiry if you need a therapist under the Redress or other schemes.

I specialize providing art therapy for adults. People from culturally diverse backgrounds, people with DV and other trauma backgrounds, people with mental health issues. I mainly use Humanistic and Psychodynamic approaches as well as cognitive-behavioural models integrating the social work principles in addition to art therapy.
