As an experiential and creative psychotherapist, I am passionate about working with those who have experienced trauma and relational struggles. Sometimes what we have experienced can be difficult to put into words, utilising the body, movement, music and play can support self expression, building of a coherent narrative and integration of experience. Use of experiential mediums in therapy is known to support healing from trauma experiences as well as support accessing therapy through offering more than words to explore experience. I also provide supervision to mental health professionals working with families.
I am passionate about working with children and families where trauma has impacted as well as working with parents and caregivers who are finding hurdles in bonding with their birth children, foster or adoptive children and parents experiencing mental health needs with their infants and toddlers. Working from an attachment and neurobiology lens supports this
I hope to offer a non intrusive welcoming space where I can walk with you in your experiences. Providing a supportive relationship, working to cultivate safety, I focus on working with you was a whole to support you on your therapy journey.
