Kiia is a Registered Clinical Psychologist after completing her Master's Degree in Finland and worked there as a psychologist for a couple of years before coming to Australia. Kiia has experience working as a psychologist in many different settings with people from all walks of life.
Kiia will try and find the best approach to suit your needs, and use different approaches, like CBT, ACT, and mindfulness practice. Being an immigrant herself, she understands the issues that moving to a new culture poses.
Kiia is a native speaker of a language not even in the same tree as English (Finnish). Kiia has also learnt how much language shapes how we see the world and utilise this in my work. When not at work, Kiia spend most of her time with her animals, big and small or underwater.
