Hello, my name is Kendall. I am a queer sex and relationship therapist working exclusively online with the queer community. The majority of patients that I work with are AFAB, and of the sapphic persuasion, identities vary however I do work a lot with trans and NB folk. Individuals come to me for a variety of reasons from navigating their first queer relationship, sexual anxiety, coming to terms with their gender, realising they are some form of queer and unsure as to what to do about it. Couples are often seeking a queer therapist that simply 'gets it' to help navigate their queer relationship.
Since opening my practice I have noticed that a significant portion of my patients neurodiverse, I am open about my own neurodiversity and in addition to professional training use this, to inform my practice. Where appropriate I try to focus on upskilling my patients through DBT skills and somatic practices.
People see me for a variety of reasons, in some cases it is just simply that folk are on the hunt for a queer therapist to talk about life in general but they want to be able to bring their whole self to therapy instead of just the bits the therapist will get.
