Dr Kayleigh Young is a clinical psychologist with expertise delivering a range of assessment and therapeutic services across both public and private settings. Kayleigh works with clients of all ages experiencing a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, abuse, workplace issues, interpersonal difficulties, grief and loss, and substance use, among other mental health and wellbeing issues. Kayleigh has completed extensive clinical training and draws upon a number of empirically sound techniques and interventions to ensure sessions are tailored to the presenting issues and individual needs of each client.
These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based approaches, Schema Therapy and Trauma Therapy.
Underpinning all treatment is an emphasis on an empathetic and collaborative approach and a passion to assist clients to develop deeper insight into themselves and their experiences, in order to improve their wellbeing. Kayleigh offers session via face-to-face, online and telephone modalities as per the client’s needs.
