Hello! I’m a friendly, down-to-earth person with experience in private practice & health settings helping people understand/manage stress, anxiety, depression, panic, relationships, chronic illness & trauma. I've also worked for Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) supporting people through organisational change, career change, workplace stress, bullying, unemployment & redundancy. I've also worked with veterans/first responders with physical/mental injuries & PTSD. Before becoming a psychologist, I was a project manager in corporate/government/not-for-profit for several yrs & have extensive work/life experience as a result.
Most people start therapy feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to put their thoughts/feelings/experiences into words. Some people like a practical approach & learning strategies they can use straight away, while others prefer taking time to explore & make sense of things first, before feeling ready to take the next step. That's completely okay!
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting or even be certain that therapy is right for you. I provide a warm, non-judgmental space for people to learn new skills & to better understand themselves/others while being encouraged & empowered to move forward with strength & confidence. Book a free 10 min session if you'd like an informal chat!
