If you're living with persistent pain, a chronic illness, or symptoms that are real even though the scans keep coming back clear, you may know the tiredness of feeling half-believed. I see adults managing chronic pain, functional and neurological conditions, the long adjustment to illness or disability, and the worry and low mood that can develop when it feels like your body won't cooperate. I also have many years' experience supporting LGBTQIA+ clients, including around health. Working together is about helping you to live alongside your condition with less fear and more confidence to do the things you want to do.
My doctorate was on pain after spinal cord injury, and I spent years in hospital pain management, so these conditions are familiar ground. We work on practical improvements in your day to day life, drawing on pain and health science and cognitive behavioural approaches, always alongside your medical team rather than in place of it.
You don't need to have it all worked out before you get in touch. If you're unsure whether this is the right fit, we can start with a short conversation. Reaching out is often the hardest part, and there's no pressure in it, just a chance to talk it through and see how it feels. If I think you're best served with something else, I'll be sure to let you know.
