Hi, I’m a client-centred counsellor and psychotherapist who helps young people and adults move through challenges they may be facing such as stress, relationship breakdowns, anxiety, depression and grief and loss. I also provide trauma responsive care. I work collaboratively with clients to help them feel safe, build resilience and to think and feel more positively about themselves. Clients thereby develop a better connection with themselves and those who are important to them and feel able to face their challenges with greater ease and a sense of empowerment.
I use a wide range of therapeutic techniques to help clients explore their emotions, thoughts and behaviours and develop greater personal awareness. Being trauma sensitive and by focusing on strengths, clients develop strategies and skills to handle difficult situations and become empowered to take action and implement solutions that feel authentic to them.
I believe it’s possible in any situation to feel better and stronger and to learn and grow, but often we need a little support along the way. And that’s what I offer. A safe space in your journey to start to feel better and empowered to create more of what you want in your life. So I invite you to take that first step, and give me a call.
