Hi, I’m a client-centred counsellor and psychotherapist who helps young people and adults move through challenges they may be facing such as stress, relationship breakdowns, family dysfunction, grief and loss and mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma and addictions. I work collaboratively with clients to help them build resilience and to think and feel more positively about themselves and to develop a better connection with those who are important to them. Clients feel able to to face their challenges and those things they like least in their current situation, with greater ease and a sense of empowerment.
I use a wide range of therapeutic techniques to help clients explore their emotions, thoughts and behaviours and thereby develop greater personal awareness. Focusing on their strengths, clients develop strategies and skills to handle difficult situations. They then feel more empowered to take action and implement solutions that feel authentic to them.
I believe it’s possible in any situation to feel better and stronger and to learn and grow, but often we need a little support along the way. And that’s what I offer.
