If you are haunted by traumatic past or challenged by present life circumstances, I invite you to take an active step towards clarity, self-understanding and change. Whether it is about making sense of childhood experiences or improving current relationships with self and others, psychoanalytic and existential approach with a close focus on childhood experiences provides a solid way forward. With more than ten years of experience in psychoanalytic practice, I offer individual therapy, training and supervision in the area of complex or single incident trauma.
I work by blending psychoanalytic and existential approach aiming at treating trauma within three major points of focus: self, relationship with self and traumatic memories. I believe that therapeutic work with a clear focus is the most effective and palpable way towards long-term recovery, and can also alleviate PTSD symptoms short-term.
You will be able to feel the benefits of therapy within the first session. Higher self-awareness and confidence will come to you along with the understanding of what is going on for you and how you can get better. Gaining control is very vital at times of emotional pain. Contact me for an assessment session (response within 24 hours).

I invite clients to work on their childhood trauma as the main focus of our work together. As a therapist specialising in trauma treatment I often find childhood adverse experiences as an underlying condition for clients who initially present to therapy seeking relief from symptoms of recent traumatic incidents in their adult lives. I believe childhood trauma can be effectively treated in therapy.

Blending psychoanalysis (that is allowing the session to flow with free associations and metaphors, offering insights to a deeper psyche) and existential approach (that is to understand human needs and human condition within the constraints of limited life opportunities and enormous world suffering), I also seek to identify practical strategies that support client's daily functioning and coping.
