Do you want to try one session to get a ‘life consult’ for yourself or someone you care about? I offer Single Session Therapy as well as ongoing counselling. Do you feel lost, overwhelmed, distressed, burdened or alone with your problems? I can help you connect the dots to see a bigger picture. Do you need help getting through a difficult time? Will it help to feel heard, supported and explore creative solutions to feeling better? I have extensive experience with relationships, work stress, student stress, trauma, abuse and families. Maya Angelou said, “be a rainbow in someone’s cloud”. That is what I aim to be.
I work from a non-judgmental, compassionate, strength based, trauma-informed framework. I assess and normalise what people are going through in the context of their lives. Instead of asking, “what is wrong with you”, I help make sense of what happened to you and how it impacts you. Together we work on a process of learning, developing, healing and recovery.
Life’s difficulties can leave a hidden imprint on us. No wonder you’re stressed, depressed, anxious, sleep deprived, self-medicating, overwhelmed, moody, angry, exhausted. But there is help. I know the hardest step is the first one. Feel free to shop around for the right person, the right fit for you. There is no commitment. Let’s meet and see how it goes.
