I feel passionate about assisting people to achieve positive life changes and gain lasting relief from lifelong pain and trauma. I believe that a therapist can work better with the suffering and distress of others not only through professional and ongoing theoretical training, but also with a true knowledge of themselves.
I have been practicing as a clinical Psychotherapist and Counsellor for more than 25 years, with a history in somatic-body oriented therapy. I am a certified TRTP Practitioner of ‘The Richards Trauma Process’, a certified holistic EMDR Practitioner and certified Hypnotherapist. This allows me to work specifically with trauma and stress-related issues.
It doesn't matter if you are looking for a short intervention, or support and guidance in a longer term therapeutic relationship, I believe my experience and knowledge of all modalities combined result in a comprehensive therapeutic understanding of the healing process.
