Conflicts, challenging life circumstances and all difficult things literally shake up our world and invite us to interact with life in new ways. These transitions often uproot us, sometimes in ways we aren’t prepared for or don’t want to deal with. Yet these roadblocks can lead you to yourself, and even though this can be painful and difficult to navigate, once you move through them, you’ll appreciate they facilitated your growth as a person. To heal from major life challenges, we need to change our thoughts and belief systems to allow for new ways of responding and experiencing life. For nothing really changes, until you do.
For 18 years, I had the privilege of working in humanitarian operations for the United Nations. I was witness to enormous global trauma and I experienced my own. Recovery was a life-changing experience which deeply shaped me as a person - to support others in addressing mental health challenges, so you too can welcome happiness back into your world.
Sometimes the hardest step in recovering from life's challenges can be reaching out for support. Unraveling the knots in your psyche can be a bewildering journey that you do not have to walk alone. I appreciate how challenging it can be to recover from deeply impactful and painful events, and I welcome you to call or reach out for more information.
