I’m an Associate Professor in Psychotherapy at ACAP University College, where I am fortunate to have the opportunity to coordinate the largest Master’s Program in Counselling and Psychotherapy in the country. I also supervise emerging psychotherapists, social workers, and psychologists—while maintaining a small clinical practice. I’ve trained extensively in psychodynamic–interpersonal therapies, received gestalt supervision, and Eastern contemplative traditions, particularly Buddhist psychological traditions. In my research I advance transpersonal psychology and psychedelic-assisted therapy in Australia and internationally.
I utilise psychodynamic, somatic, and mindfulness-based approaches to self-development, and the resolution of formative life traumas. I also support clients in integrating psychedelic experiences, in making sense of spiritual emergence, and in translating transitory states into stabilized traits, including those that emerge through meditative practices.
