I am an experienced, accredited EMDR and trauma-oriented clinician with extensive expertise in treating clinicians, veterans, and civilians. My approach is ethical, evidence-based, and client-centered, and draws upon a diverse repertoire of specialized skills and advanced training. I am committed to providing a safe, effective, and tailored therapeutic experience to my clients, many of whom are extremely vulnerable, and fearful of engaging with a therapist.
With over two decades of experience, I offer a down-to-earth, solution-focused, and nonjudgmental approach. I support my clients in feeling validated and understood—especially those who have never disclosed their trauma previously. EMDR is a respectful treatment, and does not require a detailed discussion of the trauma(s) in order to be effective.
It takes immense courage to seek support, and the first step can feel overwhelming. Whether new to therapy or, like many, have had a discouraging experience in the past, I encourage you to explore the possibility of compassionate, competent psychological support and recovery.
