Perhaps you have been trying to make sense of things, but the same pattern keeps appearing: it could be relationships that keep breaking down, or a sense of lacking direction in life, or maybe despite everything going well on paper, things still feel off? Whatever you’re experiencing is a normal response to difficult circumstance, and it can be worked through in psychotherapy. I’m an experienced Psychotherapist working with people who want to understand what’s driving their difficulties at the root. I believe that suffering can be transformed into meaning and a source of vitality. For more information, you can visit my website.
My approach is exploratory and paced: we think together, and we go as deep as the work requires. I understand symptoms not only as a source of suffering, but as messages seeking understanding. This type of therapy takes time but it aims to create long-term change. I specialise in relationship issues, anxiety, trauma, identity and body-related concerns.
I am trained to offer both individual and relationship therapy. I have further training for working with LGBTQ+ clients, including working through internalised homophobia, shame, navigating surrogacy and issues to do with coming out. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. Feel free to call or email so we can find out if we’re a good fit.

I have come to specialise in open-ended psychodynamic psychotherapy, an approach which pays attention to the root cause of distress and how unconscious factors play a role in keeping tricky life patterns going. I offer therapy either once or twice weekly.

My clinical experience has allowed me to develop an understanding of what gets in the way of psychological growth. Therapy will begin with a comprehensive assessment followed by weekly psychological therapy (either once or twice per week). Clients usually see a deepened understanding of themselves, an increased capacity to break unhelpful cycles, and a gradual receding of symptoms over time.

I offer trauma-informed psychodynamic approach to therapy. Sessions will focus on developing an understanding of the hidden emotional patterns shaping your life, often with their roots in the past. Compared to therapies like CBT which is structured and task-oriented, the psychodynamic approach is exploratory in nature. It aims to create a space where you can pause, reflect and feel understood.
