I work with my clients in a person-centred way, which includes warmth, genuineness, understanding and non-judgement. In my work, I’ve found humour to be a powerful therapeutic technique, which can build a strong therapeutic alliance and help us make contact with painful thoughts and feelings.

I have experience with clients in both private practice and school settings, with children, adolescents and adults. Over this time, I have worked on presentations including grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder and neurodevelopmental concerns. I also have a unique passion for supporting neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+ clients.
In session, I use an eclectic approach, derived from evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT). When working with young people, I incorporate play-therapy techniques to present content in an enjoyable and immersive way.
