I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, elderly, and parents presenting with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, emotional challenges, poor self-esteem, loss, grief, and trauma. My approach is evolved around a person-centred and strengths-based approach, seeing each client as whole beings with the internal resources to navigate their own healing. Through supporting my clients to look deeper into their interpretations, emotions, and behaviours I empower them to gain a better understanding of themselves and the world around them.
I am a registered psychologist with over 20 years’ experience. I have completed a Bachelor of Arts, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, and a Graduate Certificate in Family Therapy. I bring a sense of humour, compassion, respect, and honesty to my work.
I carefully consider the most appropriate therapeutic approach to best meet each client’s presentation and therapeutic needs. This, along with developing practical strategies to better manage mental health challenges, creates lasting positive change that will permeate throughout many areas of my client’s life.
