Are you feeling overwhelmed, going through major life change, or making sense of your sexuality or gender? Welcome, I'm Julia. I support you to gain a greater sense of your preferences, hopes and befriend all parts of yourself. My style of therapy is conversational. I work to ensure you leave our sessions having found new territories of meaning, insight about your life and your skills in living. I am deeply informed by social justice and critical theory, and have qualifications in anti-oppressive and non-pathologising counselling approaches. I welcome all bodies, genders and identities.
I work in-person (Newtown or Sydney CBD) or online. I use a sliding scale fee model (concession rates are also available). I offer group programs including creative poetry workshops and collective projects. Feel invited to get in contact with me if you wish to hear more.
Unsure if I'm the right fit for you? Contact me and we can find a time for a free 15min phone/online call to chat more and ask me any questions. Looking forward to hearing from you!
