Hello! I am Jordi, the director of Jigsaw Psychology & Assessment. I would describe myself as highly empathetic, easy to talk to, but as someone who can also be direct when needed. I have a keen interest in helping people understand and work through the true causes of anxiety; understanding and processing trauma; and also working with neurodivergent people. While I am well trained in CBT, and frequently utilise it, I am also interested in what is underlying presenting concerns, and how to best tackle them. This can look different depending on the client, but it is always something I am keen to explore.
I have experience in modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, psychodynamic psychotherapy, EMDR, and more. My areas of interest include trauma processing, reducing anxiety, working through issues through the therapeutic relationship, and trying to help people gain empathy for themselves. I have years of experience working with complex people of all ages!
I understand that taking the leap in starting therapy, or finding a new therapist, can be really daunting, so I make it my goal to makes things as comfortable as possible for my clients.
