In my work I have found that people are often exploring how to heal, how to hold overwhelming experience, how to find some relief and understanding in the midst of psychological distress, how to manage complexity in relationships. Each person has their own reasons for seeking therapy and their own sense of what they would like the process to provide. My commitment is to offer a confidential space where I listen to you with care and respect and where we work together to understand what you are experiencing.
My areas of focus include a range of mental health presentations and other life challenges. I have experience working in community mental health, school, military and private practice settings in Australia and in the US.
Given each person brings their own world of experience, personality, and rhythm to the therapy process, each therapy is unique. Fundamentally, it is a space for you to come to understand yourself and your particular experience with more depth and, hopefully, greater compassion.
