Those closest to me would describe me as a kind and caring person who is a very good listener. I believe that’s because I’ve experienced my own share of life’s challenges and emotional pain. I’ve had times of feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, lost and alone. Through it all, my saving grace has been the support of some amazing counsellors and supervisors. It is these experiences that have inspired me to be the helper I am today. I’ve spent the past 22 years learning how to best help and offer hope to those in need. You can see a list of my credentials and experience here.
I bring both my lived experiences and training as a crisis and relationship counsellor to every session. It is the culmination of my life experiences, personal growth, education and ongoing professional development that gives me the confidence to be of service to you.
The great philosopher Lao Tzu said that the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. I’d be honoured to take that step with you.
