I work with clients across the lifespan, experiencing a range of mental health difficulties. I have particular interest in working with boys and men from aged 12 right through to older adulthood. My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in attachment theory. I believe that our early relational experiences shape our emotional well-being and influence our present psychological difficulties. I work with clients to understand how our early experiences shape current functioning, finding ways to undo the knots of our history and pursue life in a way that is congruent with ones values.
I am a Clinical Psychologist with more than five years of clinical experience working across acute mental health settings, private practice, education, and drug and alcohol settings. I take an integrative approach, drawing heavily from Mentalization based Therapy (MBT), Schema Focused Therapy (SFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and EMDR.
