I enjoy working with clients to address both short term solution focused issues and longer term complex complaints. I like to provide a collaborative and tailored approach to treatment planning and therapy. Drawing on clients strengths and preferences I have a keen interest in helping clients confront and move past their personal barriers. Further I have training in the provision of EMDR therapy and have a keen interest in helping clients address previous trauma that may be impacting their quality of life.
My previous experience has been in dual diagnosis mental health and alcohol and drug services space. I provide a warm and collaborative engagement style and can integrate a variety of approaches that include EMDR, CBT, mindfulness, ACT and narrative based treatments depending on client preference.
Living with diagnosis such as anxiety, depression, trauma or addiction can impact our ability to live well and thrive.
