Safe, compassionate and non-pathologising therapy for women 16+. As a woman or female identifying , you may have experienced trauma or significant emotional distress caused by discrimination, sexual assault, abuse, bullying, domestic violence, social exclusion or hormonal life transitions. Understandably, these traumatic experiences can have an impact on your social, emotional, physical and psychological wellbeing, particularly within relationships. I believe, given the right environment and opportunities, you can heal from trauma and live a rich and meaningful life.
My therapy style is integrative - drawing on evidence based training in mindfulness, self compassion, attachment theory, inner child therapy, feminist principles and trauma informed care. Safety underpins all sessions - ensuring you feel emotionally, psychologically, physically, culturally and spiritually safe. Longer sessions are also available.
If you connect with what you've read, please visit my website for more information. I offer a free brief phone consultation, which allows us to talk about what you hope to get from the therapy and whether we might be a good match. Please email or call if you'd like to arrange a time for this free consultation.
