I have over 20 years of experience in couples therapy, marriage counselling, sex therapy and individual therapy. I specialise in working with couples and individuals who are struggling with issues in their relationship and/or sex life. I also work with people who are wanting to explore issues around relationships (e.g. questioning your current relationship, partner choice, difficulties with intimacy/commitment, dating). My practice is inclusive for people of all genders, sexualities, cultures and backgrounds. I am experienced in working with clients who practice consensual non-monogamy.
My approach is integrative, and I am highly skilled at tailoring the intervention to meet the individual needs of the client or couple. My main interventions include: Psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, person-centred therapy, gottman methods couples therapy and attachment therapies.
I appreciate that seeking therapy may feel very daunting, as it can be difficult to confront the reality that your relationship and/or sex life is not as fulfilling as you want it to be. My approach is warm, collaborative, and respectful.
