I like to work in an honest environment where sessions are collaborative and unique to each client. I believe developing a strong therapeutic bond is important to progress and essential to a positive therapeutic experience where clients feel safe, heard, comfortable and confident in giving feedback. I am authentic, caring and friendly but am also direct when needed and not afraid to ask the hard questions, delve into difficult conversations or address the unconscious issues. I like to work across a range of areas such as depression, anxiety, OCD, relationship issues, ADHD and complex trauma.
My style is person-centred, and treatments are tailored to each individual however I tend to draw from a range of approaches including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.
