Jenny is a warm, client-centred Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about using evidence-based psychological and neuro-affirming therapies to support people in their journey towards insight, healing, change, and growth. Her approach is evidence-based and experiential, drawing predominately from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and trauma therapies such as EMDR and cognitive processing therapy. Jenny is also trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, Schema therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and uses techniques informed by polyvagal theory.
Jenny’s particular strengths and interests include working with adults experiencing symptoms of trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, phobias, grief & loss, low self-esteem, relationship & interpersonal difficulties, stress and adjustment issues. She also has a particular interest in working with adults whose lives have been impacted by chronic/persistent pain.
Jenny is a full member of AAPi, EMDRAA, & an accredited psychology supervisor who provides clinical supervision to mental health professionals as well as psychology registrars seeking endoresment. Jenny has completed Level 1 IFS training and she also has a therapy dog - a 4yo King Charles Cavalier called "Lightning Charlie" who she sometimes brings to work.
