It is our human need to make sense of our experience but offten, people can feel significant isolation in not being seen, not being heard and understood. There is still a significant stigma in help seeking and what people will receive from me is validation, support, an opportunity to consider strategies or goals that can assist you in managing your experiences in a non shaming space. You will leave counselling with a stronger sense of yourself and your own strength and capacities to support yourself and continue to increase a positive sense of meaning in your life. You are the expert in yourr life.
We are relational beings who experience grief and loss across the lifespan. For some persons, the impact of trauma and complicated grief and loss, impacts ones capacity to trust, form relationships, make sense of experiences and even personal safety. I assist in the building of relationship to self and the opportunity to make sense of your experiences
In connecting with me you will have a safe space to explore your needs and experiences, and find ways to perhaps for the first time, connect to yourself. I specialise in trauma, grief and loss, addiction, sexual assualt and family violence.
