Jenny Spencer is a psychologist registered with AHPRA. She is also a registered teacher in Queensland. She has over 25 years’ experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults in both the educational and private sectors. Jenny specialises in assessment and intervention with children, adolescents and adults exploring diagnoses of ASD, ADHD, Intellectual Disability and learning disabilities. She has a special interest in supporting parents and children as well as adults with neuro-developmental conditions and can support plan managed and self-manage NDIS participants.
Jenny uses a play-based narrative approach to intervention with children to treat social interaction problems, emotional regulation issues and other challenging behaviours. She also accepts referrals for children and adults from GPs under Mental Health Treatment Plans.
