I value developing a collaborative relationship with my clients, optimally, to support them navigate through difficult times and life situations. I will bring a combination of professional knowledge and skills with empathy and deep listening. Clients bring a wealth of knowledge and resources about their life experiences. I will work with my clients to uncover and discover their stories and opportunities to create change. By working together, clients gain their own agency, empowerment and further resources, while feeling heard and supported, finding their own inner strengths, skills and knowledge going forward in the future.
Building the therapeutic relationship I draw on a range of approaches: Narrative Therapy, MCBT, ACT and EFT. Crisis and trauma, person-centered therapy and somatic wellness. Additionally, I offer support with with social constraints, disadvantage, discrimination, interpersonal & family violence, and understanding in living with chronic health & disabilities.
I would like to help you feel encouraged and supported in ways to cope with change, stress and challenges. Making change and taking action become more possible with support and empathy. I can also offer resources and psychoeducation tailolred to client's individual experiences and circumstances and a flexibility to arranging appointments that work for you.
