Intro to DBT & Mindfulness

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy is a highly effective treatment for emotion dysregulation, interpersonal challenges, personality disorders and ADHD. This 3-week course will introduce you to the foundational skills of DBT. After completing this introduction, you will be ready for subsequent courses on interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation and distress tolerance. We will meet online weekly for 90 minutes. You will learn about DBT, then between sessions practice the skills, then share your experiences with your peers. The group will have a maximum of six participants. Groups are known to accelerate learning and are a cost-effective way to become more skilful.

Healthy Relationships Now (DBT)

If you have difficulty forming, maintaining and sustaining healthy relationships an this is negatively impacting on your overall health and wellbeing, you will benefit from this five-week course. You may have a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder (BPD), ADHD, Anxiety and/or complex PTSD. This group follows on from the Intro to DBT group and will teach you skills to manage interpersonal conflict, to ask for what you need and say no to what you don't effectively and learn the super power of validation of self and others. It is a cost-effective way to become skilful quickly.

Befriending your emotions (DBT)

This five-week online group teaches the Dialectical Behaviour Therapy approach to befriending and managing our emotions. For people who are highly sensitive, often feel overwhelmed by their emotions, or that their emotions can "come out of nowhere" this group teaches skills to recognise and understand our emotions and to bring down the intensity, or when justified, change them. The group will be for a maximum of six participants.
